I am so inspired by this dynamic and enthraling website, that I would like to be considered for membership please, provided there is no extreme initiation ceremony.
See you next Sunday, if the weather’s fine and I can get out of bed.
Dear Sirs
having received a strange plain brown envelope from a certain address in Brockenhurst today i opened it at arms length carefully placing my wife between the envelope and myself should it turn out to be dangerous.
Imagine my surprise when i was the recipient of an honary Curryclub runners t shirt. I asume this is Rich Dunnes way of getting me to pass the initiation test ie buying everyone a curry the next time i am in the forest with the woodland creatures he associates closely with.
I hope i have not done some poor member out of the chance to out perform us all in Rome, but should you feel the need i am sure i can transfer the ticket…not.
This all started with a can too many beers up here in the frozen north and some half arsed idea that rich and i were still young and fit enought to do a marathon, well we are nearly there now all i have to do is meet the team, and stop the wives investing heavily in Rome and the nice Italian men while we torture ourselves.
Please accept my futile application to join the honoured ranks if only for one day in Rome and too you all i wish not to disgrace you but to celebrate with a curry in “our favourite curry house” could you let me know where this emporium is?
John from the north a true Vet in all respects aged 48 years
Hi guys. Having got the taste of it last week (the run, not the curry, sadly) we (Minna and I) will join you again on Easter Sunday. However, could you let me know where Sunshine Bob hails from.
Thanks
Tim
Hi Guys, Thanks for letting us join you on Sunday morning. It was great to meet up and run with you all again….about three years since the last time! Hope to become a more regular Sunday participant.
Good to see that nothing has changed and the Steve Coe selected route had a variety of terrain and the odd river crossing….at least it was a warm day and that cooled off the feet!
Thanks guys for a lovely morning.
